David Lee Prosch, age 70, of Glen St. Mary, Florida, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at UF Shands Gainesville. He was born to Betty Sue (Byram) and David Rufus Prosch in Birmingham, Alabama, on September 8, 1955, and lived in Florida for the past 50 years. David was an old fashioned Gentleman who loved his God, wife, and children above all else. He was an Honorable Veteran of the U.S. Navy. David graduated from the Greenville Technical College with a Transportation Degree. He was a LTL truck driver for Southeastern Freight Lines for 12 years and retired from Averitt Truck Lines in Jacksonville, Florida, after 14 years. On the 14th day of December 2008, David was ordained as Pastor in the Christian Faith and taught the Biblical life to all he met. He loved his fellow man and would give the shirt off his back if needed. He raised Rex Rabbits and was gentle and loving to all of his pets. David was the quintessential Quiet Man who knew how to listen. His life made a broad mark upon all who knew him. He is greatly missed. David was preceded in death by his parents, David and Betty Prosch. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jeanie Marie Teel Prosch of Glen St. Mary; daughter, Katy Helaine McClellan (Shane) of Ridgefield, Washington; son, JohnRyan David Lucas Prosch (Ashley) of Glen St. Mary; grandchildren, Ethan Everett and Evelyn Rose; brother, Gregory Alan Prosch (Debra) of Green Cove Springs; beloved niece, JT Sheree Teel Roland; along with numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
