Danny Ray Hunter, age 63, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022. He was born on October 26, 1959, to Maurine (Boyd) and Lecil Howard Hunter in Jasper, Alabama, but had lived in Baker County for most of his life. Danny was a kind-hearted father, grandfather, brother, and friend who was a Jack of all Trades, enjoyed fishing, and was a die-hard Alabama Crimson Tide fan. He was preceded in death by his parents; Lecil and Maurine Hunter; brothers, Howard Hunter and Dale Hunter; sister, Priscilla Wilcutts; and lifelong partner, Linda Snover. Survivors include his son, Michael Snover of Macclenny; daughters, Samantha Hunter of Macclenny and Anne Oliver (Tara) of Lake City; sister, Patricia Guy; brother-in-law, Eddie Wilcutts; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 11, 2022, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel with Reverend Derrick Rhoden officiating.
