Dana "Danny" Eugene Griffis, age 55, a lifelong resident of Maxville, Florida, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022. He was born on May 8, 1967, in Jacksonville to Freddie Eugene and Dollie Mae (Bass) Griffis. Danny was a quiet, polite father, grandfather, son, and brother. He enjoyed listening to music, dancing, and spending time with his family. Danny was preceded in death by his sister, Tonya Thomas. Survivors include his daughter, Karri Harris (Travis) of Maxville; sons, Wesley Griffis (Cookie) of Maxville and Travis Griffis of St. Augustine; parents, Freddie and Dollie Griffis of Maxville; sisters, Missy Padgett (Dickie) of Clay Hill; brother-in-law, Dean Thomas; and 5 grandchildren.
