Christopher Lee Imler, age 61, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026, at the Haven Hospice Custead Care Center in Orange Park after a lengthy illness. He was born on February 18, 1965, in Green Cove Springs to Margaret Gayle (Moore) and Robert Arthur Imler. 
Chris was an amazing husband, a kind and loving father, and an awesome brother. He was the hard-working, self-made business owner of "The Whole Nine Yards" landscaping company and devoted many hours to its success. All work and no play gets boring quickly, so in his off time, he loved spending it outdoors. Whether he was camping, fishing, cooking great food on the backyard grill, or simply relaxing on a sunny day at the beach, he wouldn't be by himself in any of those moments, though. He made sure to share them with his daughters and granddaughters, whom he adored. 
Chris was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Fred Dunn Jr., Tommy Dunn, and Bobby Joe Imler. Survivors include his devoted wife of 27 years, Karren Imler of Jacksonville; daughters, Christina Imler-Hester (Cody) of Bryceville and Kristen Pyatt of Kingsland, Georgia; brother, James Dunn (Tasha) of Dublin, Georgia; sister, Mary Imler of Jacksonville; granddaughters, Carolyn and Kinsley; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 
A Celebration of Chris' Life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Old Plank Baptist Church with Pastor Larry McGinley officiating.
