Christina Virginia Streat, age 39, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 19, 2022. She was born in Macclenny on September 11, 1982, to Jimmy L. and Sandra K. (Tanner) Streat and had spent most all of her life in Baker County. Christina was a loving mother and would do anything for her kids who were her pride and joy. She was also a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, listening to Country Music, and caring for animals, especially her dogs. She was a hard worker that tried to help others when she could and she loved her family dearly. Christina was preceded in death by her two sons, Joseph L. Streat and Trevor L. Thornton. Survivors include her son, Gary T. Thornton; daughter, Hailey Thornton; parents, Jimmy and Sandra Streat; sisters, Amanda L. Streat and Nickie Finley (Kevin); nephews, Jonathon Hodges and Jase Finley; niece, Emilie Hodges; as well as numerous friends that will miss her outgoing personality.
