Charlotte Jeanette Crews, age 73, of Glen St. Mary, Florida, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at her home after an extended illness. She was born on November 2, 1951, in Macclenny to Ruby J. (Taylor) and Virgil Johns Sr. Charlotte was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who enjoyed fishing, riding around Macclenny, and taking care of her home and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and her dog Junior. Survivors include her devoted husband of 54 years, Woody Crews; son, Bryan K. Crews (Tiffany); daughter, Charlotte A. Crews-Gainey (Luke); brother, Virgil Johns Jr., all of Glen St. Mary; grandchildren, Charlotte Ann, Rebecca, Kendra, Shayln, Autumn, Ellie, Luke, and Grant; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel with Pastor Justin Griffis officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the funeral home.
