Charles "Chucky" Joseph Midyette, age 40, of Glen St. Mary, Florida, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. He was born in Jacksonville on August 2, 1983, to Margaret Smith and Michael A. Midyette and lived in Baker County all his life. Chucky was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend who was a "Jack of All Trades." He would try to help anyone in need and tried to make people laugh and feel better. Chucky loved his family deeply, especially his nieces and nephews. Survivors include his parents, Michael Allen Midyette (Joan) of Glen St. Mary and Margie Harryman (Tracey) of Hastings; brothers, Michael Midyette Jr. of Glen St. Mary, Andrew Midyette (Amanda) of Green Cove Springs, Jason Harris (Lindsay) of Glen St. Mary, and Russell Harryman (Sarah) of Green Cove Springs; sisters, Michelle Pittman (Wayne) of Claxton, Georgia, Rosina Crossman (Walter) of Glen St. Mary, Maggie Crowley (Jon-Michael) of St. Augustine, Charity McGee (Shawn) of Sanderson, Clarissa Midyette of Glen St. Mary, Sarah Holman of Glen St. Mary, Jessica Harryman and Mary Harryman, both of Hastings. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 3, 2024, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel with Pastor Sam Combs officiating.
