Charles "Eddie" Edward Moore III, age 67, of St. George, Georgia, went fishing at his heavenly fishing hole on Monday, March 10, 2025, at his home after an extended illness. He was born to Joyce Marie (Pittman) and Charles Edward Moore Jr. in Jacksonville on October 5, 1957, and has lived in Georgia Bend for the past 36 years. Eddie loved NASCAR and Dirt Track Racing. He was a driver himself for a number of years, driving #55. Eddie loved raising game cock chickens, salt and fresh water fishing, and his Florida Gators. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who felt at home in the great outdoors. Survivors include his sweet wife of 47 years, Sandy Moore of St. George; son, Charles "Little Eddie" Moore IV (Tracy) of St. George; daughter, Stacey Mann (Johnathan) of Sanderson; parents, Charles "Chester" and Joyce Moore of Macclenny; brothers, Randy Moore (Melissa) of Taylor and Vincent Moore (Rita) of Glen St. Mary; sisters, Patricia Smith (Forrest) of Jacksonville and Donna Dinkins (Tony) of Sevierville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Clayton, Grant, Charley, Saige, Kaden, Kooper, Sullie, Talmadge, Finn and Sawyer; along with nieces, nephews, and other family members.
