Billy Joe Calloway, age 48, of Orange Park, Florida, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at St. Vincent's Clay after a brief illness. He was born in Columbia County, Florida, on May 12, 1973, to Darlene Clegg and Robert Perry. Billy was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army.  He was a wonderful husband, father and "Papa" who enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing, loved Christmas, and adored his family. Billy was also a master chef. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Hope Perry. Survivors include his beloved wife, Cynthia Calloway; sons, Cody Calloway (Hailey), Brandon Riggins (Casey), and Brody Ireland; daughters, Charity Johns and Madison Calloway; brother, William Calloway; grandchildren, Owynn, Oaklynn, Darcee, Ridge, Evie, and Elliotte; along with numerous family members and friends. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 8, 2021, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel with Pastor Kelly Johnson officiating.
