Bernadette Rose Thomas, age 50, of Middleburg, Florida, passed peacefully on Monday, November 27, 2023. She was born on August 3, 1973, in Pierce County, Washington to Donna Rose (Chew) and James Robert Greathouse. Bernadette loved her family. She was outgoing and a people person. Friends and family agreed Bernadette had never met a stranger. She enjoyed the great outdoors. Fishing and boating were her favorites. Bernadette loved animals, especially horses, deer, and chickens. She was always excited about "Do it Yourself" crafts. Bernadette is preceded in death by her mother, Donna Greathouse, and two grandchildren, Ashima and Jeremiah. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Kerry Dean Thomas; sons, Harley Thomas and Eric Eddy of Maxville; daughter, Krystal Rose of Alabama; brothers, James Greathouse II (Angel); sister; Christina Greathouse; grandchildren, De'Andre, Arianna, Gulianna, Lil Michael, Kashmere, Ma'Khi, Aliace, and Zerriana; and nieces and nephew, Breanna, Brandon Sierra and Destiney.
