Benjamin Loyd Scully, age 73, of Maxville, Florida, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021, at Frank Wells Nursing Home in Macclenny. He was born on September 24, 1948, in Maxville to Benjamin and Tilly (Wilkinson) Scully. Benjamin was a lifelong resident of Maxville and was a member of Sanderson Congregational Holiness Church. He loved Stock Car Racing, working in the yard, and his church. Survivors include his brother, Robert Wilkinson (Vickie) of Middleburg; sister, Laura Jo Kaganac of Jacksonville; uncle, Chap Irvin Wilkinson (Susan) of Glen St. Mary. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel with Reverend Justin Griffis officiating. Interment will follow in Long Branch Cemetery in Maxville. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
