Arthur Swiers, age 74, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at St. Vincent's Medical Center under the care of Community Hospice after a lengthy illness. He was born on November 10, 1949, in Paterson, New Jersey, to Helen (Nichols) and Albert Swiers. Arthur was a hardworking, good family man who enjoyed being outdoors, trying to become a better fisherman whenever time allowed. He enjoyed baking sweets in the kitchen and loved being a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather to his wonderful family. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and one sister. Survivors include his beloved wife of 30 years, Shirley Ann Rynearson of Jacksonville; son, Bruce Rynearson of Jacksonville; daughters, Wendy Mayers of Orange Park and Tracie Bautista (Ray) of Orange Park; brother, Charles "Chuck" Swiers of Toms River, New Jersey; grandchildren, Ryan and Justin Mauldin, Alexander Cooper, Curtis Crum, Emilio and Diego Bautista, Maddison and Lilly Rynearson; great-grandchildren, Canyon, River, and Bentley Mauldin, Emeree Bell, and Andie Cooper.
