April Yvonne Farence, age 47, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 17, 2026. She was born in Jacksonville on October 16, 1978, to Mary Gail (Tison) and Russell Owen Davis. April was a wonderful young woman. Loving, kind, and extremely smart, she had a degree in archeology. April had traveled extensively to excavate and research historical sites worldwide. A tragic accident cut her career short and limited her ability to travel and explore her passion. Survivors include her father, Russell O. Davis and his wife, Patricia of Macclenny; mother, Mary G. Tison of Macclenny; brother, Marshall Patrick Davis (Melissa) of Jacksonville; and her faithful canine companion, Pepper. A Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Riverside Memorial Park in Jacksonville.
