In Loving Memory of Annette Davis Mash
December 26, 1957 – August 10, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Annette Davis Mash, age 68, of Macclenny, Florida, who passed from this life on August 10, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Annette was the daughter of the late Vernon “Tom” Davis and Ruby Lee “Lauramore” Davis.
She was blessed to devote her life to being a loving homemaker and caring for her family. Annette poured her heart and energy into raising her children and grandchildren, always putting the needs of her family before her own.
Annette found great joy in cooking meals that could feed the entire family. She was truly one of the best cooks, but it was never just about the food. She poured her love into every meal she prepared. Her cooking brought everyone together, filled the house with warmth, and made everyone feel at home. In Annette’s final weeks, her diagnosis took a toll on her body, but she continued to fight with courage, strength, and determination. Throughout her life, she taught her loved ones the importance of caring for others, offering comfort, and providing love, even while carrying her own pain. Annette leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, strength, courage, and determination that will continue to live on in everyone. She was a gift to her family, an inspiration to those who knew her, and a loving presence who can never be replaced. Though our hearts are broken by her absence, we will carry her memory with us forever in the meals we share, the stories we tell, the love we give, and the family she brought together.
In addition to her parents, Annette was preceded in death by sisters, Nancy and Tammy; brothers, Edward and Randal "Bull"; and daughter, Amy Mash. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Terry Lee Mash of Macclenny; daughters, Crystal Wilkerson (Mark) of Sanderson, Julie Hoker (Christopher) of Texas, Justina Dyal (Bubba) of Sanderson, and Christina Kight (Gage) of Macclenny; and sons, William “Joey” Mash (Kristen) of Macclenny and Steven Mash of Georgia. Annette was a devoted grandmother to many beautiful grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart. She is also survived by her sisters, Judy Harvey (Bud), Wanda Bryant, and brother, Donald Davis, all of Sanderson.
Rest peacefully, Annette. Your love will live on in all of us.
A Memorial Service honoring the life of Annette Davis Mash will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at New Hope Church of Macclenny with Reverend Bobby Griffin officiating. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate Annette’s life, share memories, and honor the beautiful legacy of love she leaves behind.
