Amy Anne Moffitt, age 41, of Macclenny, Florida, left us unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, after battling health issues. She was born on July 14, 1983, in Jacksonville and was raised in Baker County. Amy had such a beautiful smile and lit up the world with her happy, contagious personality. If you knew her, you were family, and she would always have her door open to you. Amy loved working at Pilots and Fanatics before her decline. She was a great cook and took passion in new culinary experiences. Everyone's favorite was her ice cream cakes and random homemade recipes. She was a die hard rock fan and made it a tradition to go on a road trip to Rockville every year with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Smith Sr., and grandparents, Mack and Mary Chauncey. Amy was an amazing mother, daughter, Mimi, and friend. She leaves behind her three children, Skylar Wilkerson, Joseph "Joey" Wilkerson, and Kiley Wilkerson, all of Macclenny; two grandchildren and one due in 2025 that she adored; mother, Shirley Moffitt of Macclenny; siblings, Laura Brady of Pennsylvania, Thomas "Boogie" Smith of Macclenny, Jeremy Smith of Louisiana, Timothy Smith of Florida, Christina Smith of Georgia, Christopher Smith of Georgia, and Patrick Smith of Georgia; daughter-in-law, Casey Kish; father to her children, Brandon Wilkerson; and lifelong friends, Cari Rhoden, Amy Berrier Colbert, Cassandra and Jason Amerson, and Jennifer Daniels. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
