Amy Charlene Burks Crews, age 50, of Cuyler, Florida, passed away unexpectedly, on Friday, June 7, 2024. She was born in Green Cove Springs on November 29, 1973, to Linda Jo (Fields) and Charles Landis Burks. Amy had lived in Baker County for the past 43 years. She was a devoted wife, caring mother, and loving daughter who had a huge giving heart. Amy enjoyed music, pop culture, and even DJ'd at local club spots for several years. She was preceded in death by her mother, and her foster brother, Shawn Stansbury. Survivors include her husband, Oliver Crews of Moniac, Georgia; sons, Hunter Retcho of Holland, Michigan, and Javin Alexander Burks of Portland, Oregon; daughter, Chloe "Tye" Burks of Macclenny; sister, Holly Marie Dillard (William) of Glen St. Mary; nieces, Samantha and Elizabeth Dillard (Aaron Byrd); great-nieces, Gracelynn Byrd and Sophia Byrd; nephew, Damien Blackburn; and a host of people that called her "Aunt Me." A Celebration of Amy's Life will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at the Macclenny Moose Lodge.
