Alessandra "Sandi" Banks, age 81, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at Vivo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Jacksonville. She was born on May 27, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan, to Jean (Brinkley) and Bruce Peck and had lived here in Baker County for the past 20 years. Sandi was an Executive Recruiter for the DCC. She enjoyed going to car shows and traveling, spending as much time as possible with her remaining family in Michigan. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, she was a beautiful thread woven into the fabric of her family. Sandi was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her devoted husband of 22 years, Robert Thomas Banks of Macclenny; sons, Craig Toohey (Suzanne) of Troy, Michigan and Kirk Toohey (Erica) of Dearborn Heights, Michigan; daughter, Margie Banks, of Almont, Michigan; son Robert Thomas Banks Jr, of Fenton, Michigan brother, Phillip Peck of Detroit, Michigan; sisters, Linda Andonian (Guy) of Youngsville, North Carolina and Donna Lewandowski of Belleview, Michigan; along with 8 grandchildren.
