Patrick “Pulpwood” Mobley went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on May 2, 2018. He was surrounded by his family and friends whom loved him tremendously. Pat was a wonderful father of two sons, Riley (Jessica) and Kaleb, and stepson, Jeremy. He was affectionately known as Papa Pat to his grandchildren, Weston and Kinsley. He was loved very much by his wife, Dicie; sister, Carolyn Conway (Henry); brother, Cherill Mobley (Kathy); and late brother, Michael. He was the son of the late Charlton and Cincinnati Mobley of Macclenny.
He was full of life and loved adventure. He lived each day to the fullest extent. He had a love of trains all his life and was a CSX locomotive engineer for 38 years, traveling the rails to all areas of north and central Florida. He was the epitome of “a railroad man,” blowing his horn to let everyone know “he” had arrived!!!
His quick “wit” and devilish smile was sure to capture your heart! He was a man of many friends with whom he spent numerous hours riding motorcycles, racing cars, and flying his plane. He was the “spark” of life and life of the party all the time. He will be missed beyond words on this earth and enjoyed immensely in Heaven.
Go in peace, my wonderful husband to your resting place with God!! We love you and We Will See You Again.
