Kenneth Lamar Evans

Mr. Kenneth Lamar Evans, age 61, of St. George, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 9, 2020, at Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital in Macclenny. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida, on May 6, 1958, to Lamar Billy and Louell J. Evans. Kenneth was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He had been a resident of St. George for the past three years and attended First Baptist Church St. George. He loved fishing, joking around, and was a friend to everyone. 
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Lamar B. Evans; and grandparents, Forrest and Leona Johns, and Joe and Gladys Evans.
He is survived by his mother, Louell Bryan of St. George, GA; son, Kenny Paul Evans of St. George, GA; significant other, Pam Martin of St. George, GA; brother, George Evans (Carolyn) of New Haven, CT; sisters, Judy Evans (Randy) of St. George, GA and Karen Chambers (Dusty) of Savannah, TN; granddaughter, Olivia Evans; along with nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm on Monday, January 13, 2020, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at First Baptist Church St. George, 1125 Cotton St, St George, GA 31562 with Pastor Larry Finley officiating. Burial will follow in Manntown Cemetery in Glen St. Mary, FL.
