Jerry Jackson Cooper, Jr.

Mr. Jerry Jackson Cooper, Jr., age 51, of Glen St. Mary, Florida passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 4, 2019, in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born on November 21, 1967, in North Miami, Florida to Jerry Jackson, Sr. and Carol (Malcolm) Cooper. Jerry was of the Catholic faith and resided in the Mandarin area of Jacksonville prior to moving to Baker County. He was an electrical estimator for Adkins Electric and was always known as a hard worker. Jerry loved to engage his family in debate and was tenacious with his argument. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan but enjoyed watching the Miami Dolphins as well. He enjoyed working with plants which led to his hobby of horticulture.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife of 19 years, Debi Aderman Cooper; and cousin, Johnny Easters, III. He is survived by his daughter, Emily Elizabeth Cooper of Glen St. Mary; brother, Gary Zachary Cooper (Maureen) of Williston, North Dakota; stepsister, Rehea Timm of North Miami; aunts, Donna Hirsekorn (Wallace) of Neptune Beach, Judith Ann Easters (John) of Wendell, North Carolina, Francine Malcolm Price (Robert) of Miami, and Sheryl Malcolm (Wayne) of South Carolina; uncle, George Arthur Malcolm, Jr. of Jacksonville; cousins, Laura Pariseau, Sean Hirsekorn, Eric Hirsekorn, David Malcolm, Jason Malcolm, Bryan Easters, and Kenneth Easters; along with other family members, and friends.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
